PV Cells
Monocrystalline cells are thin wafers that have been cut from large silicon crystals. They have an efficiency of around 12 percent (Fies, 2001).
Polycrystalline cells have many silicon crystals that are fused together. They are about 10 percent efficient (Fies, 2001).
