As the population of the world contiues to increase, over
fishing in the world's oceans, lakes,
and streams is becoming a critical problem. Current open water fishing techniques are unsustainable.
In order to supply the world with the fish that people demand, the fishing industry must move rapidly to more
sustainable techniques such as aquaculture and aquaponics.
